BYD Service and Warranty

Light Service Plan
| Fixed price of $189 per year for a lower kilometre car user, offering a capped service price for up to 12,000 kilometres per year for 5 years*. Available for the ATTO 3 MY22/23 only. |
*To be eligible for the low KLM CAP price servicing, you would need to fit the following criteria:
- From 12 months or less from the last service date, whether it's at 12, 24, 36, or 48 months intervals, provided that the vehicle has travelled less than 12,000km since the last service and less than 60 months since delivery date.
BYD Warranty
Building motor vehicles since 2003, BYD is a world leader in automotive quality and safety. BYD is proud to offer Australian drivers a robust Traction Battery Warranty - 8 years or 160,000 kms, whichever occurs first and Vehicle Warranty - 6 years or 150,000 kms which ever comes first Manufacturer’s Warranty*.

Exciting Update: Service-Activated Roadside Assistance
From 1 December 2024, BYD will introduce Digicall as its new roadside assistance partner and launch the Service-Activated Roadside Assistance program.
What is Service-Activated Roadside Assistance?
This program links your roadside coverage to your annual logbook service at a BYD service centre, offering:
- Effortless Activation: Complimentary 12-month roadside assistance renews automatically with each logbook service.
- 24/7 Support: Assistance for flat batteries, towing, lockouts, and more, anytime, anywhere.
- Convenient Reminders: Notifications to book your service, ensuring continuous coverage.
What Does This Mean for You?
For Vehicles Delivered On or After 1 December 2024:
- 12 months of complimentary roadside assistance from the delivery date.
- Coverage renews automatically with an annual logbook service at a BYD service centre.
- Service reminders to keep you covered.
For Vehicles Delivered Before 1 December 2024:
- Existing 12-month complimentary roadside assistance remains active.
- Renewal is available under the new program after completing a logbook service before current coverage expires.
For Extended Roadside Assistance Contracts:
- Existing contracts remain unaffected and fully honoured.
This enhanced program ensures seamless roadside assistance for BYD drivers.

BYD Genuine Parts
BYD Automotive stock and deliver a full range of BYD parts. Based at our Brisbane Logistics Hub, BYD parts will be delivered nationwide and ordered in advance to ensure parts are on hand to support each BYD customer.

BYD Automotive has appointed a national network of BYD Approved Panel Repairers. Each repairer has been identified by BYD as leaders in their field with each repairer exceeding all repairer compliant.
